We will perform a preliminary diagnostic of the media, advice the condition of the media, success rate and recovery fees. This will be provided after 4 hours from the point we received the media within our working hours. If your media reach us after 2pm, the update will be provided on the next working day. We will only move on to the recovery process after you have given the approval to proceed.

Recovery Process and Report
Engineers perform the data recovery and a final online report will be provided presenting all recoverable files. An online payment link is provided for credit card payment.

Recovered Data and Return
The recovered data will be copied to an external USB hard drive and courier back to you.

Please proceed with the following instructions.

  1. An email will be sent to you containing the service request form along with a job number. Please print out the service request form and attached it to the faulty media before sending it to us.
  2. Backup Media to stored recovered data will be charged separately:
    1TB – USD75, 2TB – USD100, 4TB – USD145.
  3. If you are providing your own backup media, please indicate on the drive as (Backup Media). Only brand new or empty drive will be accepted. Kroll Ontrack will not be responsible for any data loss in the backup drive provided by customer.
