Ontrack Data Recovery 20th Anniversary

Celebrating 20 Years of Data Recovery Services

In 1985, Ontrack Data Recovery founders, Michael Rogers, John Pence and Gary Stevens saw a need in the disk drive market and developed their first product, Disk Manager® software, a hard disk installation utility. When introduced, Disk Manager software broke the then current 32 megabyte size limit in DOS and allowed access to the new larger 40 megabyte hard drives.

Two years later, the company performed its first data recovery service job and averaged about one recovery per week that year.  How things have changed!

To celebrate 20 years of data recovery success, Kroll Ontrack invites you to take a look back at how the computing world – and rest of the world - has changed in 20 years.
